Thankful November - Day 7

My Personal Alarm Clock
Today I am thankful that I get to wake up to this. It is way better than that annoying alarm buzzer, and while there is no snooze button to hit over and over, this face makes getting out of bed in the morning so much easier.
Happy Monday!

Thankful November - Day 6

Friends
If I named them all individually, from wonderful acquaintances to tried and true friends, I'd exceed my list 30 things I'm thankful for here and now. And while I'm thankful for all those people, I have a group of girlfriends who are completely irreplaceable and I am beyond thankful to have them in my life. We go way back, have been through so much together and have so many wonderful memories and I know, day or night, near or far, those girls will be there. They are the people that I can count on for anything and spending time with them is a guarenteed laughfest.

Thankful November - Day 5

Saturday
As a full-time working mom, I am thankful for Saturday. I't's my favorite day of the week. It's the beginning of the weekend and after a busy week at work and barley brushing shoulders with my husband each day, I look forward to spending Saturday with my family. While my days of sleeping in are over, I am grateful for Saturday morning snuggles with Easton, breakfast in our pjs and family nap time.
And what better way to start the weekend than like this...

Thankful November - Day 4

My Sisters
Although there have been times when I may have acted otherwise, I am so thankful for my two sisters. As the middle child, I have always had someone to look up to and someone who looked up to me and I wouldn't want it any other way. They have inspired me to become better and brighter than I had thought I could be. And yes, there were times that we said mean things, listened in on each others phone calls, pulled each others hair and chased each other around the kitchen with scissors, but I'm even thankful for those times, as they are now memories that we cherish and laugh about. And today, I am thankful for the women my sisters have become - so thoughtful, honest, witty and fun. They are constantly there for me, day or night, and they listen without judging, always providing support. I am thankful for the way they adore my son, making them the best aunts in the world. But most of all, I am thankful that my sisters are my best friends; full of love, encouragement, and joy for me!
Sisters by chance, friends by choice!

Thankful November - Day 3

My Parents
Today, and everyday, I am thankful to be the daughter of the two most loving and amazing people. My mom and dad have provided me with so much in life and have enabled me to experience so many things. They have given me everything they possibly could, and even some things they probably couldn't. They have supported me (mentally, emotionally, physically and at times financially) throughout my entire life, even when they didn't necessarily agree with my decisions, and have been there no matter what. They love Bryan and have welcomed him into our family with open arms. They have showed me what it takes to have a successful marriage and to be a great parent, and if I can be half the parent to Easton that they are to me, then we're in good shape! But most importantly, they have raised me to be the person I am and they love me unconditionally and for that, I am thankful. And today, while I continue to be thankful that they are my parents, I am even more thankful that they are the grandparents of my child. Easton is one lucky little boy!
